Since our founding in 2009, Promus has built a reputation around one core idea: great projects are the result of strong relationships, applied expertise, and intentional teamwork. We are a team of consulting engineers committed to delivering high-quality outcomes—not just through our technical abilities, but through how we engage throughout the design process. Our focus is not simply on producing documents, but on contributing meaningful expertise that improves projects from the earliest stages through completion.

While construction documents are an essential part of what we do, they are not the sum of our value.     Scott Meriwether, PE
    Over the course of more than 30 years in the engineering industry, Scott Meriwether has developed extensive experience

    in multidisciplinary engineering design, field oper­ations, and system implementation. Beginning his career working directly within the mechanical contracting industry, Scott gained a practical understanding of how engineering decisions impact construction, operations, and long term building performance.

    His field based perspective continues to influence PROMUS’s approach to coordination, constructability, and client advocacy. Scott is recognized for his ability to bridge technical precision with practical execution, helping project teams navigate complex challenges while maintaining focus on efficiency, budget, and performance goals.

    As a founding principal of PROMUS, Scott remains deeply involved in project leadership, quality oversight, and the development of integrated engineering solutions across a wide range of commercial and specialty facility types.

    Darin Frick, PE
    Darin Frick brings more than three decades of multidisciplinary engineering leadership spanning mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and energy focused system design. His unique background across engineering design, HVAC systems, sales, and project management allows him to approach projects with both technical depth and practical business understanding.

    Before co-founding PROMUS in 2009, Darin held senior leadership roles overseeing complex commercial projects and multidisciplinary engineering teams. His experience managing large scale projects from concept through construction has shaped the firm’s owner focused philosophy and commitment to engineering stewardship.

    Known for his strategic thinking, coordination driven leadership, and ability to align technical solutions with real world project goals, Darin plays a key role in guiding the company’s long term vision, client relationships, and integrated project delivery approach.

    Principal●LEED, A.P.

    George Davidov
    George Davidov has spent more than 20 years working across mechanical and plumbing system design, operational leadership, BIM coordination, and integrated project delivery. His experience combines technical engineering expertise with a strong focus on coordination, constructability, and efficient project execution.

    Beginning his career in the field alongside mechanical contractors, George developed an early understanding of practical system application and construction realities. That experience continues to shape his collaborative and solutions oriented approach to project delivery and team coordination.

    Over the years, George has played a key role in advancing the firm’s BIM and integrated coordination capabilities, helping streamline communication between design teams, consultants, contractors, and owners. His leadership supports PROMUS’ commitment to delivering coordinated, efficient, and execution focused engineering solutions aligned with both project performance and client expectations.

  • Brandon Sharp, PE

    Project Manager

    Brandon Sharp, PE
    Brandon received his BSME from Pensacola Christian College in 2014 and joined Promus in 2017. He has a combination of experience including building controls, commissioning, facility management, and consulting engineering. Brandon is passionate about finding a solution that meets the owner’s needs while also navigating code requirements. In his free time, he loves camping in the Shenandoah mountains with his wife and boys, tinkering with his snow machine, or exploring one of his other many interests.

  • Ryan Douglas

    Project Manager

    Ryan Douglas
    Ryan is a graduate of Pensacola Christian College with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Ryan joined Promus in June 2015. Ryan enjoys playing and watching just about any sport. He likes to fill his weekends with camping, shooting, snowboarding, eating, woodworking, or helping his dad on the farm.

  • Ted Grubowski

    Electrical Dept. Lead

    Ted Grubowski
    Ted brings over 26 years of engineering design experience in electrical systems, backed by more than 13 years of hands-on field experience in electrical contracting. After earning his electrician certification from Lyons Technical Institute, he began his career as a field electrician in New Jersey, eventually earning his New Jersey State Electrical Contracting License.

    After relocating to Florida, Ted worked as a project foreman for a commercial electrical contracting firm, where he led multiple projects and developed valuable leadership and project management skills. In 1999, he transitioned to the engineering side of the industry, joining a local engineering firm and applying his field expertise to design.

    In 2012, Ted joined Promus, where he continues to leverage his extensive field knowledge to enhance the design process. His experience enables him to anticipate and address real-world challenges, ensuring that systems are not only code-compliant but also practical, efficient, and constructible. This perspective adds significant value to our clients.

    Outside of work, Ted enjoys spending quality time with his family and making the most of life’s everyday experiences.

    Mechanical Engineer

    Sasha Grbic, PE
    Sasha joined Promus in October of 2018. He received a Master of Science in Mechanical engineering from the University of Novi Sad, Serbia in 1998, and a Master of Science in Material Engineering at the University of Trento, Italy in 2006. He has over 20 years of experience in 3D design, CFD and FEA simulations. He has been married for 20 years and has two children. He enjoys playing tennis, skiing, and going to the gym.

Upon graduation, he entered into the engineering design world touching projects in multiple market sectors. With now over 10 years of experience he joined the Promus team early in 2022. In his personal time Jack enjoys sports, music, and spending time with his wife and young daughter that they welcomed in December 2023.

    Bane Davidov
    Bane joined Promus in January 2021 in a part-time capacity. He received a Master of Science in Mechanical engineering from the University of Belgrade, Serbia in 2002. He has 20 years of experience as a manager in transport industry. He has been married for 20 years and has one daughter. In his free time, Bane enjoys playing tennis, going to the gym, traveling and spending time in his vineyard.

    Sydney Robertson
    Sydney Meriwether is our Office Administrator who is excited to be part of a company that shares many of her core values. She is excited to join Promus in a part-time capacity. Sydney received her Associates in Marketing Management from Chattahoochee Technical College in 2022. She has also received 4 certifications in a myriad fields such as Social Media Marketing, Small Business Management, Technical Specialist, and Health Coaching. In her free time, Sydney enjoys painting and art, singing, and drinking a good cup of coffee or matcha.

    Nenad Petrovic
    Nenad joined Promus in March of 2022. He received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at The Higher Education Technical School of Professional Studies in Novi Sad, Serbia in 2011. He has over 10 years of experience in 3D design, Solid Edge, Solidworks, Revit. etc. Nenad enjoys playing basketball, watching movies, reading, and going to the gym.

    Mike Stankovic
    After finishing art school and 20 years of work as a graphic designer, Mike accepted the challenge and changed graphic design for electrical design, and Adobe for Autodesk. The result is a unique working environment with exceptional people and experts. Mike loves music, sports, art and nature. He plays bass, acoustic & electric guitar and composes. He also plays volleyball, jogs and spends time with his family and friends.

    Srdjan Arbutina
    Srdjan graduated with Honours from the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, earning a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering in 2019., with a specialization in Manufacturing Processes Design. With four years of experience as Technical Department Lead in the heat exchanger manufacturing industry, he has developed strong expertise in 2D/3D design of heat exchangers and HVAC system components, managing design team activities and supervising manufacturing processes, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality standards. Outside of work, he enjoys spending quality time with his friend and family, working on household improvement projects and applying and expanding his engineering skills through hands-on mechanical design, developing prototypes on his 3D printer.

    Serge Stefanovic
    After earning a degree in Multimedia, Serge began his career as an English teacher before discovering a passion for technical design. For the past seven years, he has worked as an MEP Drafter, combining precision, problem-solving, and creativity to deliver high-quality engineering documentation. His multidisciplinary background allows him to approach challenges with both analytical thinking and creative problem-solving. Outside of work, Serge enjoys traveling and has explored much of Europe. He loves hiking, spending time in nature, and having quality time with friends.

  • Sergio Cecavac

    Electrical Designer

    Sergio Cecavac
    After earning a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Sergio began his career as an electrician while still completing his studies. During his master's program, he transitioned into electrical design engineering, where he has now spent over six years designing electrical systems for a wide range of projects. Sergio embraced the challenge of learning the National Electrical Code (NEC) from the ground up, expanding his expertise to U.S. electrical standards. Outside of work, he enjoys gardening, fishing, and hiking. He produces most of his own food on his family property, enjoys reading, and values spending quality time with his family and friends.
